• The Class B airspace around McCarran International Airport gives our students a great opportunity to gain confidence in busy airspace and invaluable local knowledge for students looking to move on to the Las Vegas helicopter tour industry.

• The Boulder City area is an ideal helicopter training location where the nearby mountains provide excellent training challenges and experience. The high temperatures in the summer also provide high density altitude experience that the U.S. Forestry Service and many other mountain-based companies require.

• The Las Vegas area is an ideal location for new helicopter pilots. The various helicopter tour companies are looking for pilots every season. A pilot who has instructed in the area and has developed a reputation for being safe, professional, and familiar with the area will definitely have an advantage when it’s time to progress in your career.

• Our new facilities provide a great learning environment where you’ll receive quality ground instruction. We at Vegas Air Service believe that quality ground instruction provides the proper foundation for good, safe, professional pilots.

•We have a local DPE to do our check rides in the Schweizer 300C for Private Pilot to Instrument rating.
